Sean I. Peters

I am a geologist and planetary scientist interested in: 1) the formation and evolution of planetary surfaces and interiors via volcanic and other processes, and 2) the interaction of the lithosphere with the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and – on Earth – biosphere.  My work has largely fallen in the realm of physical and experimental volcanology and planetary volcanology and geomorphology.

 

Furthermore, I am profoundly interested in earth science education, intentional mentoring, and inclusive practices in STEM.
